Don’t play politics with big business, warns Wesfarmers chairman

Wesfarmers chairman Michael Chaney has accused Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton of criticising big companies only to further their political ambitions, saying they should acknowledge how vital businesses like his are to the country’s prosperity.

Mr Chaney said it was a “lamentable feature of Australia’s current political scene that the leaders of all parties apparently see it in the interests of their electoral prospects to criticise big companies”.
