Viral beauty brand Coco & Eve snares $100m American PE investment

Texan private equity firm Gauge Capital has snapped up a majority stake in Australian beauty brand Coco & Eve for more than $100 million.

The company, marketed as vegan and cruelty-free, was founded in 2018 and owned by Emily Hamilton and her husband, Alexander Ostrowski, who now live in Singapore. Coco & Eve sells a range of hair, self-tan and body care products, featuring names like Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam.
