The plan to fix craft brewing’s dirty little secret
There’s plenty that Jon Seltin loves about the soaring number of independent craft brewers and microbreweries in Australia, but he knows it’s not all beer and skittles.
“This is fantastic for consumers, it’s fantastic for diversity of beer. But one thing it’s not fantastic for, though, is sustainability. Because the smaller you are, generally you don’t enjoy the same economies of scale as the big ones,” he told the Tech Zero podcast.
