Sydney leads the queer world in post-COVID recovery, study finds

Sydney, set to host the Mardi Gras parade this weekend, rules the queer world in rebounding from COVID-19, according to a new study.
The research, led by Dr Chris Pepin-Neff, a senior lecturer in public policy at the University of Sydney, found that 93 per cent of queer bars, venues and events in the city reopened after the pandemic lockdowns.
