Online underwear company Step One has run into trouble with its overseas expansion strategy, with customer growth rates in the United Kingdom slowing as logjams in logistics created headaches, but it hopes a British rugby player will help it revitalise.

It has also just signed Los Angeles Lakers basketballer Austin Reaves, who plays in the National Basketball Association competition in the United States, to help drive take-up in an American expansion push.
