Harvey Norman says demand for AI-enabled devices driving sales higher

Harvey Norman chief executive Katie Page says strong demand for a new generation of artificial intelligence-enabled devices will drive sales as consumers seek out the latest technology and replace items more quickly.

The retailer – which owns Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne brands and has hundreds of stores around the country along with outlets in Europe, the United Kingdom and Malaysia – told investors that sales this month were particularly strong, up 7.2 per cent in the first three weeks.
