Over the next few weeks more than 40,000 Myer shareholders are likely to receive a letter from Solomon Lew asking for their support to throw chairman Garry Hounsell off the board.
If Mr Lew doesn't get his way at the annual meeting on October 29 and decides to call an extraordinary general meeting, Myer shareholders might be asked to help the Premier Investments chairman overthrow the entire Myer board and management team.
