Domino’s Pizza CEO scrambles to avoid ‘painful’ result

Domino’s Pizza delivered yet another disappointing trading update, with same-store sales for the first seven weeks of the 2025 financial year weaker than expected as it battles to reinvigorate the struggling French and Japanese businesses.
Same-store sales for July and most of August were down 1.3 per cent for the group.
