An unlisted agricultural vehicle controlled by billionaire Pro Medicus founder Anthony Hall is raising $40 million in the hopes of replicating the success of the country’s major salmon businesses, both of which were acquired by global rivals in blockbuster deals within the last four years.

Anthony Hall built a $6 billion fortune after co-founding Pro Medicus, the ASX-listed medical imaging software giant, with Sam Hupert in 1983 and has spent the past four years buying up smaller fish and oyster plays and amalgamating them in a new company, Yumbah Aquaculture.
