British court finds Australian delivery app Easi wronged its new owner

Melbourne food delivery start-up Easi has been ordered to pay almost $25 million in damages to HungryPanda, a rival business that successfully alleged it had lost profits after buying the business in late 2021.

The decision by a London court paves the way for HungryPanda, which specialises in delivering Asian food, to restart a Victorian lawsuit that had been paused until the claim in the United Kingdom had been resolved.
