The management of Melbourne-based Asian-focused food delivery business Easi are in hot water just three months on from the acquisition of the company by UK specialist food delivery platform HungryPanda for $50 million, with numerous court cases lodged against the operators.
A range of court documents filed in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Federal Court and High Court of England include disturbing allegations of underhanded, illegal dealings, including allegations Easi management failed to transfer the assets of the company in December when the acquisition closed, and then deleted masses of company documents after being compelled to hand them over.
