Brick Lane boss tips big rise in no alcohol beer
The chief executive and co-founder of Brick Lane Brewing, one of Australia’s biggest craft brewers, expects the no-alcohol and low-alcohol beer market to increase tenfold and reach 10 per cent of the total beer market within a few years.
The group, which is on track for annual sales of $40 million, is accelerating across all categories of beer and generates about two-thirds of its sales by making beer for third parties including private label brands for supermarket giant Coles, Dan Murphy’s and BWS owner Endeavour Group and grocery chain Aldi.
