Vic Bar rebukes top silk for ‘cash’ comments on Voice

The president of the Victorian Bar has taken the extraordinary step of publicly rebuking a senior silk who said lawyers supporting the Voice were just making “a commercial play”.
Sam Hay, KC, told the bar’s 2200 members via its In Brief newsletter that the comments by Stuart Wood, KC, to The Australian newspaper last Wednesday were out of line.
