Top 50 law firms add a record 806 new senior associates
Law firms have flooded their fee-earning engine rooms with lawyers to take advantage of a bounceback in billings, promoting a record number to senior associate level.
According to data from The Australian Financial Review Law Partnership Survey – sponsored by the UNSW Faculty of Law & Justice – Australia’s top 50 law firms added 806 new senior associates over the financial year, more than during the high times of the pandemic years and the banking royal commission.
