‘Sophisticated’ young lawyers back on partnership track

Mid-career lawyers are back on the partnership track, with leading firms promoting a record number of senior associates and special counsel this July and saying the current crop can expect to wait less time to become partner.

After two years of stagnant growth, there are 803 new senior associates in the latest Law Partnership Survey run by The Australian Financial Review, with the total number now at 3836.
