Scyne Advisory has failed in its bid to temporarily restrain a former partner from working at services contractor Downer EDI because the PwC spin-off firm took too long to bring the action.

This sets up a final hearing into the matter that will be watched closely by other consultants who are subject to lengthy non-compete clauses.
