PwC government work ban to last at least another six months
The federal Finance Department has deferred a decision about whether to let PwC Australia resume bidding for government work by at least six months, to the middle of next year.
Finance had originally committed to deciding on December 1 whether the firm had reformed enough to win new Commonwealth contracts, but now needs more time to be “comfortable re-engaging with PwC”, departmental executive Richard Windeyer told Senate estimates late on Tuesday.
