Jumping the gun on defamation reform

Soon after Commonwealth Attorney-General Christian Porter's Press Club speech on Wednesday, NSW AG Mark Speakman held a briefing for media outlets on defamation reform.
Two years ago, Speakman agreed that NSW would lead a national reform project. He was ready to outline what is a pretty radical reform program ahead of next week's meeting of federal and state AGs.
