Judge references Oliver Twist, Goldilocks in EY win over defections

EY has won the right to see a trove of documents in a court case over the defection of partners from the big four consultancy to an upstart rival after a judge agreed to a request he likened to Oliver Twist’s plea “Please, sir, I want some more”.

The five former EY Australia partners and their new employer, consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal, must now hand over material about their exit from the big firm as it considers whether to pursue them for breaching its partnership agreement.
