Judge’s advice to Gen Y lawyers: ‘get back to the office’
High Court Justice Stephen Gageler has urged lawyers to get back into “the room where it happens” in a stark warning to the profession as it emerges from the coronavirus pandemic.
In a keynote address to open the Australian Bar Association conference in Melbourne on Thursday, Justice Gageler said he was concerned about the development of “Gen Y” (Millennial) lawyers because of the prevalence of remote work.
