The back seat that Attorney-General Michaelia Cash is taking during the election campaign has reached farcical status.
Many months ago, Cash accepted an invitation to speak at the Australian Bar Association’s Re-Emerge conference in Melbourne next week. The ABA was also talking to her office and with shadow attorney-general Mark Dreyfus about an election debate on legal issues, given the timing.
