Judge blasted for bias after taking over case

A judge who has been overturned 80 times has again been castigated by an appeal court for showing apprehended bias as he took over arguments in a bankruptcy case.

Judge Sandy Street, of the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court (FCCFC), ruled against Stephanie Bhnan in June 2021, voiding the transfer of a property in Sydney on the basis that she had paid only $1.2 million of the $1.5 million purchase price.
