Herbert Smith Freehills partners have agreed to a merger with New York-headquartered Kramer Levin in a deal that will add more than 100 people to the partnership and $700 million in revenues to the top-tier law firm.

Partners voted “overwhelmingly” to approve the deal, the firm said, which makes HSF the first major local partnership with an expansive, integrated operation in the United States.
