Executives are increasingly willing to pay a premium for strategy advisers who are also experienced industry experts, a change in client buying behaviour making life even more difficult for generalist consultants.
That’s the view of Chris Paxton, a veteran strategy consultant who has become the new managing partner of EY’s local strategy arm, EY Port Jackson Partners.
