Experts call on more firms to copy PwC’s pay transparency
PwC Australia’s rivals and private sector companies should copy the firm’s transparency around its salary ranges for staff because it will help close the gender pay gap, according to experts.
The firm disclosed projected pay ranges for staff for the 2023 financial year last week, an unprecedented move for the advisory sector. It was made as part of a push to ensure PwC is best positioned to hire and retain staff in the current competitive job market.
