Consulting outfits will need to attract a wider pool of potential recruits as the shortage of professionals continues during 2022, according to the head of Accenture Australia.

Peter Burns, who became chief executive in November, believes wages in the sector will continue to rise this year and says the firm is examining other ways to make it more attractive to employees, such as offering non-standard working arrangements.
