Ex-Crosby Textor pollster ‘deeply uncomfortable’ with Hong Kong work
The former head of Crosby Textor’s global research team says the firm’s work for a pro-Beijing think tank in Hong Kong made him “deeply uncomfortable” but he felt he “had little choice in the matter”.
AFR Weekend reported on Saturday that the Australian political consultancy had worked with the Our Hong Kong Foundation ahead of the crucial legislative council vote in the city, and as national security laws – which limited free speech and political opposition – were being implemented.
