The global head of Deloitte, Joe Ucuzoglu, has slammed plans by rival EY to separate into independent auditing and consulting businesses.
In a 20-minute video posted on Deloitte’s website last week, Mr Ucuzoglu said Deloitte would only separate “if it was absolutely necessary” and that the firm’s leadership was intent on nurturing the firm, “not tearing it apart”.
