The great consultant shortage of 2021 is leading to burnout across the sector, with advisers already struggling to keep up with demand still reluctant knock back work from clients.
The firms are relying on the “high-achieving” personalities typical of consultants to shoulder unsustainable workloads amid lockdowns in NSW and Victoria, as staff toil for extended hours and partners find themselves doing work they would have previously assigned to juniors.
