Corrs pays premium for new partners amid string of high-profile exits
Law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth is paying the “typical market” premium of 20 per cent to bring five new partners to its Melbourne office as part of a push to beef up its southern outpost.
It has made the move after seven partners from the firm’s employment and IR team defected to rival King & Wood Mallesons, the head of gender equality, Felicity Healy, left for Ashurst and corporate partner Gaynor Tracey departed for Hamilton Locke.
