Perth man Cameron Waugh has pled guilty to insider trading charges relating to the purchase of Genesis Minerals shares shortly before the explorer’s transformative recapitalisation in September 2021.

Mr Waugh appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court in Western Australia on Wednesday, where he pled guilty to one count of applying for shares while in possession of inside information.
