AustralianSuper says Rio Tinto unification debate just getting started

AustralianSuper says it could see itself supporting the simplification of Rio Tinto’s complex international structure, in a move that would end the mining giant’s three-decade-old split between London and Australia.

The country’s largest superannuation fund owns about 3 per cent of Rio, which has had a dual company structure since 1995.
