Tanarra Capital founder John Wylie and his wife, Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie, have bankrolled a new policy think tank that will look for market-based ways to grow Australians’ long-term standard of living.
The pair are the seed funders for the Policy Institute of Australia, which has hired Amy Auster, an economist and former managing director at Scyne Advisory, as its first chief executive. It will be philanthropically funded, and independent of any political association, the organisation said in a statement.
