Ten banks on nostalgia, older viewers in prime-time ratings push
Network Ten once pitched itself as the young, hip, network. Now it’s pitching for those with ageing hips – resurrecting Deal or No Deal and Wheel of Fortune in prime time after struggling to cut through in the evening ratings.
The network, which is owned by New York-headquartered entertainment conglomerate Paramount, has brought back Family Feud host Grant Denyer to anchor the rebooted Deal or No Deal, and British television personality Graham Norton to host the new Wheel of Fortune.
