New York Times reporter’s misstep led to leak of Jewish chat group

A reporter from The New York Times downloaded and shared 900 pages of content from a private chat group for Jewish creative workers, which ended up in the hands of anti-Zionist activists.

The Melbourne-based reporter, Natasha Frost, has not named the person she shared the information with, but has apologised. Its disclosure led to the harassment of several people who were in the group and had their names published online in a mass act of doxxing by the activists in February.
