One of Network Ten’s highest-profile former journalists, Peter van Onselen, will be unable to criticise the broadcaster after it successfully applied for a legal order.
The Paramount-owned network applied for a fast-tracked hearing in the NSW Supreme Court after van Onselen questioned the “long-term viability of Network 10” in a column published by The Australian. The broadcaster believes that the column was a breach of a non-disparagement clause in his contract.
