News Corporation co-chairman Lachlan Murdoch appears ready to bring defamation proceedings against Private Media, publisher of the Crikey news website, escalating a public fight between the media mogul and the small Australian company.
Private Media made international headlines earlier this week after daring Mr Murdoch to sue for defamation over a Crikey article which claimed that the Murdoch family were “unindicted co-conspirators” to the Capitol riot in the United States.
