Washington | Donald Trump returned to Washington to assail Joe Biden for rising crime and inflation, while attacking the congressional panel investigating his role in the Capitol insurrection as “hacks and thugs”.
In a speech on Tuesday (Wednesday AEST) at a political conference hosted by supporters, Mr Trump said the US was devolving into “carnage” since he left office, and he predicted Republicans would retake Congress in November’s midterm elections, and the White House in 2024.
