High Court judge takes swipe at media on privacy

High Court judge Patrick Keane has taken a thinly veiled swipe at "old media", saying they will see "dollar signs" when faced with a choice between the right to know and the right to privacy.
In a speech at the Commonwealth Courts Building in Brisbane, Justice Keane said there was an element of self-interest in the current push to reform defamation laws.
