GroupM picks first female CEO in Aimee Buchanan

GroupM has appointed Aimee Buchanan as its chief executive in Australia and New Zealand to replace Mark Lollback, who left the business in March.

Ms Buchanan will join GroupM in October to lead the network of agencies, responsible for around 30 per cent of advertising spend in the local market, including Mindshare, MediaCom, Wavemaker, Essence, Neo and m/SIX. Globally, GroupM is responsible for more than $50 billion in annual media investment.
