The Small Business Ombudsman has urged the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to examine predatory practices across the digital marketing industry.
Kate Carnell said there were too many “cowboys” in the digital marketing industry who were taking advantage of small businesses trying to diversify their operations online, a trend that has surged because of COVID-19.
