Freedom Foods says Q3 sales slide, pays $4.45m to Perich companies

Freedom Foods Group says revenue for the third quarter fell 10.7 per cent while it paid a total of $4.45 million to companies associated with the Perich family – key backers of the UHT milk and plant-based drinks maker.

The troubled manufacturer outlined in a statement to the ASX late on Friday afternoon that sales fell $17 million to $141.6 million in the March quarter, compared with the second quarter of fiscal 2021, broadly in line with company expectations.
