Freedom Foods milk supply contract ‘at market price’
The new chairman and chief executive of Freedom Foods Group has addressed concerns around opaque milk purchasing contracts with a company partially owned by the Perich family, which is also the manufacturer’s main backer.
Industry sources raised issues about whether the milk deal – which has always been disclosed in the company’s accounts – provided to the Perich owned-farms was superior to what other farmers receive.
