Fewer babies: a2 Milk targets China’s growing grey population

The a2 Milk Company is expanding its products aimed at kids and seniors in China, seeking growth beyond the shrinking infant formula category it is best known for in the world’s second-largest economy.

The ASX- and NZX-listed company is expanding into fortified milk powder for kids, a market growing at a double-digit clip and valued at more than $1 billion in China.
