Ansell finds online meetings can't solve everything

Medical gloves and protective suits maker Ansell Group has decided there's a limit to how much can be done through online meetings, deferring a search for a new chief executive because it wants to gauge candidates face-to-face.

Chairman John Bevan said the board had asked chief executive Magnus Nicolin to stay on until the end of calendar 2021, an extension of six months from the original departure date earmarked under long-range succession planning.
