Worley devoting ‘extensive resources’ to corruption allegations

Worley says extensive resources are needed to respond to a US lawsuit from Ecuador that alleges the global engineering group paid “improper benefits” to state-owned companies after securing a two-week extension.

Worley has denied the allegations made by the Ecuadorian government as part of a long-running dispute over payments the engineering group says it is owed for work on energy projects between 2011 and 2017.
