Qantas and Virgin Australia are grounding most of their planes, but Sydney Airport is being circumspect about how exactly its business is being hurt by COVID-19 as people stop flying.

The only Australian airport to be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange last week acknowledged there would be a "significant" impact on international and domestic flights but provided little other information, other than to say it was confident in its strong balance sheet and liquidity position.
