Sky-high airfares ‘will come down’, says Sydney Airport boss

Travellers are unlikely to keep paying sky-high airfares on top of expensive grocery, energy and mortgage bills, putting pressure on airlines to add more seats and bring down the price of flights, Sydney Airport boss Geoff Culbert has forecast.

Sydney Airport is spending $1 million a day on its facilities, including upgrading the bathrooms in the domestic terminal.
