Seven attacks Boral deal expert over ‘fundamental errors’

The billionaire Stokes family’s Seven Group has criticised a report relied on by the independent directors of Boral to reject its $1.9 billion buyout bid as “fundamentally misleading”.
Seven in an updated bidder’s statement released to the ASX on Tuesday said the 47,000 minority shareholders in Boral were not being given the full picture and their decisions about whether to accept the offer risked being skewed.
