Plenary backs CEO charged with assaulting police, resisting arrest

Plenary Group is standing by its chief executive, David Lamming, after he was arrested and charged with allegedly resisting arrest and assaulting police outside The Star casino in Sydney last month.

But one of the investment house’s largest shareholders, Canadian pension fund Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, says it is monitoring closely the matter and expects “the highest standards of governance”.
